Veterinarians
William B. Finney , BS, DVM
| William B. Finney BS, DVM is the Owner / Operator and Medical Director of icevet LLC / Ketchikan Veterinary Clinic a 2 doctor comprehensive full service veterinary hospital in SE Alaska. Dr. Finney is a Purdue University graduate with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and Bachelor of Science degree. He is the former owner / operator of Icevet Enterprises LLC and Icevet II PC with three veterinary practices in Indianapolis Indiana. He is a retired US Army Medical Department Veterinary Corps Officer, Commander, Green Beret and veteran of three major military conflicts and recipient of the Bronze Star medal. Prior to becoming the owner of KVC Dr. Finney served as the National Dean and founder of the School of Veterinary Technology for Harrison College in Indianapolis Indiana as well as Program Director and Co-Founder for three post secondary veterinary medical training and teaching programs. He is a former USDA-APHIS-Animal Care Veterinary Medical Officer. Dr. Finney is board eligible for the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alaska State Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (animal welfare committee), Association of Veterinary Technician Educators and the International Sled Dog Veterinary Medical Association. |

Dr. Monica L. Mangis , D.V.M. Dr. Monica Mangis is an associate veterinarian with KVC originally from eastern Washington. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 2010 and soon moved to Ketchikan. Prior to attending veterinary school, she received her Bachelor of Arts from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. She decided to become a veterinarian when she realized that she had a knack with the animals on her parents’ small farm and that she would never get tired of taking care of people’s pets. She currently has a Great Pyrenees named Birch and two cats named Zane and Alfie. She enjoys walking through the woods with her dog, visiting her nephews and nieces, trying new recipes, learning new crafts and travelling to new places. She recently returned from a trip serving the Eskimos of Hooper Bay through vaccinations, spays and neuters, and looks forward to more trips in the future. In the clinic, she particularly enjoys performing surgery and feline medicine. Dr. Mangis is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Alaska State Veterinary Medical Association and Christian Veterinary Mission.

Inga Inga-Lynn Spencer was born and raised in Anchorage, AK. She was born with a love for animals. Her family and her, raised, bred and showed Pekingese. Her mother also owned her own grooming shop. In 2008 Inga followed in her moms footsteps by going to grooming school herself. She went to South Carolina School for Dog Grooming. Since graduation and becoming a cerified pet groomer, she has been working out of her home on the side. She came to work at Ketchikan Veterinary Clinic to serve and take care of animals. At the clinic she has met and found others who share her passion, love and desire to do our part to help all animals. She feels she couldn't be more blessed to be working with such a dedicated team, and friends. Outside of work, her hobbies include: beading, fishing, and she enjoys watching The Walking Dead, The Voice and American Idol. When she isn't at KVC caring for other peoples pets she cares for her own pets; Caamano her 4 year old Rottweiler mix, Kokanee her 5 year old Cocker Spaniel, Percy her 4 month old kitten & Dutchess her bunny rabbit.
